Tenderflix 2012

TENDERPIXEL presents the fifth annual TENDERFLIX festival, featuring film and video in both art and experimental genres. Applications to the open-submission had only to meet one requirement, that their entry be less than 10 minutes in length. From 1 to 3 November, the TENDERFLIX film festival will present the ten films shortlisted by the festival jury for the 2012 TENDERFLIX Prize. This year’s jury included founder Etan Ilfeld, 2011 winner Max Hattler, producer Colin Vaines, Art 
Monthly’s Matt Hale and art
ist Pauline Amos.

The 2012 TENDERFLIX Prize will be awarded to the film
rated highest by the jury, with the winning filmmaker
receiving 500 GBP.

This year’s festival will take place in the lower gallery of
TENDERPIXEL, at Ten Cecil Court in central London.

FESTIVAL PROGRAMME
Thursday 1 November
6 pm: Screening of the ten shortlisted films
7:30 pm: Screening of the ten shortlisted films, followed by the announcement of the winner of the 2012 TENDERFLIX Prize.

Friday 2 and Saturday 3 November
2 until 6 pm: The ten shortlisted films will be screened as a continuous loop during gallery opening hours.
